Maybe you need a different approach.

Because if you’re being honest…

You’re not lazy.

You’re are probably tired of starting over.

You try to eat better…You try to stay consistent…You tell yourself,

“This time I’ll stick with it.”

And then life happens.

You get busy.

You get overwhelmed.

And then you miss a few days… and suddenly it feels like you’ve failed again.

So you stop.

And the cycle repeats.

Here’s the truth most people won’t tell you:

It’s not a discipline problem. (Okay, sometimes it might be)

Generally though, I believe It’s a sustainability problem.

You’ve been trying to follow plans that don’t actually fit your life.

Plans that require:

  • too much time

  • too much energy

  • too much perfection

  • too much of doing what you don't enjoy

And eventually… something has to give.

What actually works is simpler than you think:

Consistency comes from alignment, not intensity.

It's something you want to do!

That means:

  • Choosing movement you don’t dread

  • Eating in a way you can maintain

  • Creating routines that support your real life—not your “perfect” life

  • Thinking about the life you truly desire

  • Choosing the life you want over the habits you've created

  • Removing patterns that hinder your joy and success.

  • Making sure the basics are in order

If you feel like you’ve been stuck in the start-over cycle…

You’re not broken.

Something is up. Ask yourself, what is standing in the way of me living the life I desire?

Maybe

You just haven’t been given the right approach yet.

If you are up to it,

this week, try this:

👉 Pick ONE thing to stay consistent with

(not five, not ten—just one)

It could be:

  • A10-minute walk

  • Drinking more water

  • Adding protein to breakfast

  • Having one less soda/beer/snack

  • Taking 5 minutes to stretch in the morning

  • Thinking about the life you truly desire, and making choices that align with it.

  • Finding 3 things to appreciate in your life daily

Your actions create your future.

Small changes may make a major impact on the quality of life you experience.

Rememeber to ask, Does it really fit the future you desire? Do you really want it?

And commit to that.

The goal is not perfection.

Because real progress doesn’t come from doing everything right…

It comes from not giving up on yourself. It comes from compassion and grace and starting again.

If this resonated with you, I’d love to hear from you.

Or if you’re ready for a more structured, supportive approach—this is exactly what I help my clients build every day.

You don’t have to do this alone.

Make your food enjoyable! There are many many amount of healthy additions we can add to our plates, from nuts to sprouts. Try new things!

Making your food enjoyable is not just about the taste; it's also about the experience and the variety that you can bring to your meals. There are countless healthy additions that can be incorporated into your dishes, transforming an ordinary meal into a delightful culinary experience. From the crunchiness of nuts to the freshness of sprouts, the possibilities are endless.

Explore Healthy Additions

One of the simplest ways to enhance your meals is by adding nuts. Nuts, such as almonds, walnuts, and pecans, not only provide a satisfying crunch but also offer a wealth of nutrients, including healthy fats, protein, and essential vitamins. You can sprinkle them over salads, blend them into smoothies, or even use them as a topping for yogurt. Their versatility makes them an excellent addition to both sweet and savory dishes.

Seed a new path

Add seeds like chia, flax, and even sunflower to your diet for a multitude of health benefits. These tiny powerhouses are packed with essential nutrients that can significantly enhance your overall well-being. Chia seeds, for instance, are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are known to support heart health and reduce inflammation in the body.

They also provide a good source of fiber, promoting digestive health and aiding in weight management by keeping you feeling full longer.

Flaxseeds are another excellent addition, as they are one of the best plant-based sources of omega-3 fatty acids, particularly alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). They also contain lignans, which have antioxidant properties and may help in balancing hormones.

Incorporating flaxseeds into your meals can contribute to improved cholesterol levels and support cardiovascular health.

And

Sunflower seeds, on the other hand, are not only delicious but also offer a wealth of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin E, magnesium, and selenium.

Vitamin E acts as a powerful antioxidant, protecting your cells from oxidative stress, while magnesium plays a crucial role in numerous bodily functions, including muscle and nerve function, blood sugar control, and blood pressure regulation.

Incorporating these seeds into your daily routine can be simple and versatile. You can sprinkle them on salads, blend them into smoothies, or mix them into yogurt or oatmeal for added texture and nutrition.

Embrace the Power of Sprouts

Another fantastic option to consider is sprouts. These tiny powerhouses are packed with nutrients and can significantly elevate the nutritional profile of your meals. Sprouts like alfalfa, mung bean, and broccoli offer a fresh and crisp texture that can brighten up salads, sandwiches, and wraps. They are also incredibly easy to grow at home, allowing you to have fresh sprouts at your fingertips whenever you need them.

Try New Things!

Don't be afraid to experiment with new ingredients! The culinary world is vast, and there are always new flavors and textures to discover. For instance, consider incorporating seeds such as chia, flax, or pumpkin seeds into your meals. These seeds not only add a delightful crunch but are also rich in omega-3 fatty acids and fiber. You can mix them into oatmeal, blend them into smoothies, or use them as toppings for baked goods.

The Joy of Color

Another way to make your food more enjoyable is by adding a rainbow of colors to your plate. Colorful fruits and vegetables not only make your meals visually appealing but also ensure a diverse intake of vitamins and minerals. Think about adding vibrant bell peppers, deep purple eggplants, or bright orange carrots to your dishes. Each color represents different nutrients, so the more colors you include, the healthier your meal will be.

Herbs and Spices

In addition to these ingredients, don't forget about the power of herbs and spices. Fresh herbs like basil, cilantro, and parsley can add a burst of flavor and freshness to any dish. Spices such as turmeric, cumin, and paprika can introduce warmth and depth, transforming a simple meal into something extraordinary. Experimenting with different combinations can lead to delightful surprises that excite your palate.

Conclusion

In conclusion, making your food enjoyable is a journey of exploration and creativity. By incorporating a variety of healthy additions, such as nuts, sprouts, seeds, colorful fruits and vegetables, and flavorful herbs and spices, you can elevate your meals to new heights. So, step out of your comfort zone and try new things! Your taste buds will thank you, and your body will benefit from the nutritious choices you make. Enjoy the process of discovering new flavors and textures, and watch as your meals become a source of healthy eating, joy and satisfaction.

Happy Eating!
