No, I'm not suggesting sleeping in a fridge, keeping your room nice and cool can do wonders for your sleep quality. I drop my temperature to 68 degrees or lower in the evening and have found I fall asleep very quickly. Think of it as preparing a cozy igloo for your slumber party—a chill vibe that your body will thank you for!





Tip 3: No Midnight Munchies

Avoid turning your bed into a buffet by refraining from food and water at least two hours before hitting the sheets. That includes the booze! Stop drinking at least four hours before bed. Problems associated with drinking before bed, after a few hours of sleep, alcohol can cause you to wake up and have a difficult time going back to sleep. Maybe try taking off your shoes, stepping outside, looking up at the stars and let the nights breeze sweep away your worries for a few minutes before bed.

Imagine drifting off to dreamland on a cloud of harmonious bliss! You may also try a nighttime meditation sound track. Just be sure to turn off auto play if you are using Youtube.

No, not the romantic kind—you're probably already taken! Journal, pray or meditate before bed! This will help you to let go and process the day's adventure in a healthier way than tossing and turning while ruminating.
